  • Q: What type of wire is used for MTM NoTrace cases?

MTM NoTrace will only require an .012 or .014 round wire. You should never place a rectangular wire. This is a minor tooth movement treatment that will only use a phase one wire.

  • Q: Can I treat one arch with MTM NoTrace?

    A:

Yes, depending on the case, you can consider treating one arch. However, if a patient has a deep, tight overbite, you should also bond the upper teeth to move them forward.

    A:

It is very important for your patient to realize and understand that this is cosmetic only.
